Ahmedabad: For most children, summer vacations are no more thought of as a time to get bored. For many young kids, summer vacation brings a bagful of opportunities -- of fun and infotainment (information and entertainment). One of them is an adventure camp.

Making young kids participate in adventure sports is very important. In this fast growing world our kids are addicted to the internet and computer games, they hardly go cycling anywhere because of which many parts of their body are not as fit as they must be.

Chandresh Lodhiya, the managing director of one of the leading camp organisers in Gujarat is organising four camps at different destinations -- Manali, Dalhousie, Shimla and Jayalgarh --this summer. The different destinations will have diverse activities like trekking, rock climbing, rappelling, snow crafting, tyrolean travers, Burma bridge, double rope crossing, bush craft, navigation trek, white water rafting, bridge slithering and kayaking, depending on the venue's climate and facilities.
