Summer is here, the flying season in my part of the country has started, I've done my solo and punched out my aerotow endorsement, and have no school work lined up! So what does all this have to do with me completing and implementing the  new blog section? Good question!

With all the everday little chores and challenges that lay ahead of me it is tough to find time to work on my site. This really is sad considering that I have been working on the system for over two years now! How many of you remember what the first version of Planet Aviator looked like?

Anyways, about the new blog section - this section is going to be available only to subscribers of Planet Aviator. All users will be able to view the blogs, read them, and post comments to the blogs but only thos individuals that have subscribed to Planet Aviator will be able to use the new blog section and their blog posting will appear on the home page of the site.

What about the other registered users? The registered users will also be able to blog, however, only within the 'Members' section of the site. The Members section is still free for all registered users and the blog module within that section is still available.

I will be working on a write-up on subscribing to Planet Aviator and the benifits that come along with subscribing to the site very soon.
